About this calculator

Where EMI focuses on the installment identity, this loan calculator is the place to include fees that sit around the installment (processing, or similar fields the form exposes) so total cost of credit is visible.

Still not a Nepal Rastra Bank complaint tool. APR-style disclosure can differ from the simple fields. Compare the same extras on every offer or the cheaper EMI wins on paper only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Same reducing-balance EMI, but tenure is in months and an optional processing-fee percent is added to show true cash out (fee is not always amortised into EMI — follow the handler: fee on principal).
The fee percent is applied to principal as a cash cost in the result set. Confirm whether your bank deducts it from disbursal (net take-home) against this display.
One constant annual rate. Floating loans need a new run after each reset.
EMI = principal / months.
Schema max 600 months (50 years). Sanity-check tenure against product rules.
Headline EMI, interest and payment totals — not a month-by-month schedule download unless the UI adds one.
Not modelled.
Run twice. Shorter tenure raises EMI and usually cuts total interest.
Standard equated-instalment algebra. Caps, LTV and EMI/income rules are bank policy.
Same formula. Change rate/tenure to the product. Use mortgage for down payment + tax/insurance packaging.
