About this calculator
Tipping is customary in some restaurants and hotels, not a statutory surcharge. This calculator shows tip amount and grand total so a group can agree 8% vs 10% without phone calculators.
Service charge already printed on a Nepal hotel bill is not a tip. Adding 10% on top of a 10% service charge is a choice — make it conscious.
