About this calculator

Fuel cost = distance × price / efficiency. This calculator makes a Pokhara run or a Kathmandu monthly commute a rupee figure before you argue “petrol is expensive” in the abstract.

NEPAL pump prices change; enter today’s litre rate. Traffic idle in the valley will beat highway km/l printed on a brochure. EV charging is a different tool if you keep one later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Litres = distance_km / mileage_km_per_litre; cost = litres × price per litre. Defaults 200 km, 15 km/L, 180/L as placeholders for Nepal pump math — replace with today’s NOC/pump price and your measured km/L.
Enter the km/L you actually get on that trip type. Brochure ARAI figures overstate many road mixes.
If 200 km is one way, double distance for a return, or run twice.
